There is a version of hard dance music that hits like a wall and leaves nothing behind. Then there is what MADGRRL does, which is hit just as hard and make you want to come back for more. The Los Angeles-based DJ and producer has spent over half a decade building a sound that refuses to pick a lane. Her sets run north of 160 BPM and pull from hard techno, hard dance, and everything in between, held together by a style that is aggressive and magnetic in equal measure. She has been called a nocturnal champion of the LA underground for good reason. The room she plays tends to feel it before the first track even settles in. Her production work has landed features in Billboard, EDM.com, Dancing Astronaut, and UKF, and her official remix of Flosstradamus’ “SIDE2SIDE” with Barong-signed artist Sky Sky became a cross-genre festival moment that put her name in front of audiences well outside the hard dance world. She has collaborated with Krewella, Yellow Claw, GRAVEDGR, and others, building a catalog that holds up on record and absolutely destroys on a dance floor. Support comes from GIRL BRUTAL, BRI, and LINCOLN.
